Sterling to Euros
For Sterling amounts equivalent to €15,000 (roughly £10,000) and above Piraeus Bank UK will exchange your Sterling funds into Euros and then pay the money to your order, quickly and efficiently.
Euros to Sterling
For amounts of €15,000 and above Piraeus Bank UK will exchange your Euros into Sterling and pay the money to your UK bank account.
Our London based Treasury team has access to the City's wholesale money markets that enables us to provide highly competitive rates on currency exchange. You only have to compare our rates with those offered by other financial institutions to confirm this.
To give you an indication which you can use to compare to the rates offered by other institutions, today's exchange rate for Euro purchases and sales against GBP Sterling are quoted in the box to the right of this screen. The exchange rate that will apply to your transaction will be quoted to you upon request for you to decide whether to deal at that rate.
We don't charge you for the exchange or payment, and provided we receive the required information and funds in good time we can arrange international payments with same day value.
Once opened, your Retail FX Account will remain available to you for a minimum of a year. Retail FX Accounts which are inactive for 12 months close automatically.
