Mortgage Introducers
Become a Mortgage Introducer
Applying to be accepted as a mortgage introducer is easy.
- First you need to submit a signed application form which provides us with detail of your business and which confirms your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
- We will then contact you confirming that the registration process has been completed, provide details of our procurement fee scales, and return to you a copy of the application form signed by us.
- Having been accepted as a Mortgage Introducer the next step is to introduce your clients to us under the agreed arrangements.
You'll also probably want to assess our operational capability and we would be very willing to explain our processes and products to you either at our offices or yours so as to ensure that together we can offer a smooth and trouble-free service to our mutual customers.
Our introduction fees are designed to reflect the amount of work you undertake as part of your introduction or packaging service. We have three levels of introducer service and procurement fees vary for each level.
- The basic level is where you simply advise us of your client’s name and contact details. We will then contact them to discuss their requirements. Should the introduction result in the customer drawing down a mortgage from us you will receive a procurement fee. This arrangement is commonly used by selling agents or property developers.
- The intermediate level is where you submit a full application, together with the required documentation, on behalf of the mortgage applicant. Thereafter you act as the mortgage introducer between us and your client. This level is typically used by regulated mortgage brokers.
- The highest level is restricted to professional ‘mortgage packagers’. This level requires our assessment of your operations. Should you feel that you would qualify at this level please contact us to discuss your activities and so that we can explain our due diligence process.
